What's black, weighs 80lbs, and slobbers all over...

Hogan!

Hogan (named for Hulk Hogan) is a gentle giant. He is just over a year old and is Newfoundland (possibly cross. He is a complete marshmallow and is already making up for lost time in the pet department.

Hogan was relegated to the back yard once he was past the "cute puppy" phase- I guess his previous owners didn't realise that a Newfie matures at over 100lbs sometimes! So poor Hogan has lived mostly outdoors for the majority of his life.

Thankfully he is now in rescue and looking for a loving, permanent home where he can lay around and be the true couch potatoe he should be! Hogan adores all people and is calm, friendly and easy going. Not too much can rile this boy up!

Hogan is good with other dogs and is actually quite playful. He is great with kids and absolutely relishes in their attention. He can sit, and shake a paw, and is learning his new name.

Hogan would make a great addition to a family with kids, or would make a great walking partner- his size alone is a great protection!

NOTE: WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME FOR THIS GUY A.S.A.P IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO LOOK AFTER THIS GENTLE GIANT FOR A FEW WEEKS PLEASE, PLEASE CALL US AT 403 381 2518 FOR MORE INFORMATION
