Our Fostering Program
All of the dogs with the Prairie Dog Canine Rescue stay in foster homes while they are waiting to find that perfect person or companion. While in the foster home, they learn basic obedience and manners.
Dogs will stay in foster care until they are adopted. This can be for a few days or sometimes a few months. We are flexible with how long dogs stay in each foster home but we do try and minimize the changes for the sake of the dog.
We will do everything we can to help make it a positive experience for both you and the dog. It can be very rewarding for everyone involved.
